This exceptional oral health placement program allows students to work with experts from local NGOs to provide dental care for children in Cambodia. You’ll learn about global healthcare issues and local dental practices whilst observing local dentists conducting procedures and examining patients in local clinics.

Our projects are of great importance to the local communities as they give the local communities access to specialised dental assessments and treatments which they may not otherwise receive. The skills and knowledge exchange between the visiting students and local staff also promotes informal and formal learning and training opportunities locally, which improves internal best practice and the long term success of the dentistry provisions provided.
