At a Glance:
KHIRI CAMPUS will take students to visit the country’s biggest industrial estate, Rayong. It is home to Thailand petrochemical production facilities that once created one of the biggest controversies on environmental management. Listen to the varied views from different stakeholders: the disadvantaged communities, the beneficiaries, the NGOs, the companies and the government authorities related to the issue.
Using information from that visit as well as the other site visits, students will work together to create a Social Responsibility plan addressing the global production chain and its impact on social and environmental issues. The corporate social responsibility plan will be used as a recommendation to help improve the quality of life of people in places where the enterprises operate.
