A GROUND group recently worked on a project to create vegetable farms at Angkor Krav School. They worked for a day prepping the soil, first they dug the soil then installed the posts around the site. Then using green netting they created a roof to protect the crops from the intense heat. Read more
Sambor Prei Kuk or Isanborei Community is in Kampong Thom province, on the main road between Siem Reap and Phnom Penh. It used to be a capital city during the 7th century. These ancient temple ruins are now an archaeological site in the central area of Cambodia. Read more
Khiri Campus Laos’ Sone has been in the south of Laos in Pakse since 2008 and loves local villages and communities around there.
In 2012, i joined my friends going to Thanh Luong pagoda to teach English and Literature for kids there. It was a great time playing with the kids while receiving protection from Buddas in Thanh Luong.
Kampong Kleang is a beautiful community on Tole Sap River. It locates about 40 min drive from Siem Reap. The unique of this community is the house is not floated but it stands with the 10meteres from the water in dry season and about 2 meters in dry season.
