Window shopping Phnom Penh night market

If you are looking to go shopping in the evening in Phnom Penh, the night market is a great place to go and see. It’s located along the riverside, close to Phnom Penh port. It’s open daily from 5.30pm till 11pm. During the weekday there are not so many people, but you will find that it is very crowded at weekends.

At the night market there is row after row of copied branded clothing (for men, women and children), glasses, belts, bags, shoes, purses, wallet, fake jewellery and other items. If you search and haggle, you can find a bargain! There are few stores selling local souvenirs, crafts and scarves as well.

In the middle of market there is a stage where you can see performances by local musicians and artists and behind the stage there are food stores full of fresh BBQ, meatballs, noodle salad, fried rice or noodle and other local foods that will be cooked in front of you. There are also fresh juice, fruit shake and coconut ice-cream outlet for dessert.
